Sam and Gloria Woflson established String A Strand retail and wholesale bead store in 1971. The bead store is located on the North Side of Chicago, Illinois in the Lincoln Square area. String A Strand carries a wide variety of beads from around the world. Inventory includes one of the largest selections of Swarovski Crystal in the country, sterling silver and 14kt gold filled findngs, semi-precious stones, Japanese seed beads (3 and 4mm Miyuki square glass beads), and lamp work glass beads.
